I do not accept the excuses of the constructor of the Danube Bridge2 project it was delayed because of difficulties to reach the Romanian coast, said the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov at the construction field of the Danube Bridge in the region of Vidin, Radio FOCUS Vidin reporter informs. According to Borisov if there were such difficulties it had not been hard to visit the place and to see what causes problem. According to the Prime Minister this problem could had been solved diplomatically over a year ago.
“You heard the statement of the Romanian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Radu Berceanu-Romania had no problems. If problems occur now-Romanian Prime Minister can resolve them here in Bulgaria immediately during his visits,” PM added.
According to him the projects between Romania and Bulgaria are not so many not to find time to be resolved. Borisov noted that at the end of March a Nikopol – Turnu Măgurele ferry will be opened.
Asked whether Romania will have problems with the construction of the adjoining infrastructure not to appear we are building a bridge to nowhere over lack of road connections, Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc said there will be no problems.
“I think everyone should implement its part of the project. If the Bulgarian part was ready it could have been said Romania is guilty. Let’s look at what we see-this is the best answer,” Romanian Prime Minister said.
