Fashion giant Jean Paul Gaultier is suing a Romanian firm for 750,000 GBP compensation after 20,000 fake bottles of his signature scent were found stashed in a frozen fish warehouse in Sibiu, Romania.
A spokesman for the Romanian company not named by police said they thought the bottles – shipped in from China at a fraction of the price of the real perfume – were genuine.
