Cmed announced today the appointment of James Haughwout as Vice President of Commercialisation and Operations for Timaeus, its award-winning electronic data capture and management system. In addition, he brings expertise combining business process reengineering with advanced technologies within the biopharma industry to transform capabilities in clinical data and submissions management.

“We are delighted to welcome James Haughwout to Cmed, said David Connelly, Cmed CEO. “His proven marketing, technical and operations leadership in both the commercial software and biopharma sectors will be instrumental to the advancement of Timaeus and our Cmed Technology company. We also believe his background in business transformation will be particularly helpful in developing partnerships with systems integrators and consultancies—better enabling our clients to realise the next-generation benefits of Timaeus.

“I am tremendously excited to be joining Cmed, said James. “Over the course of my career, I have been privileged to work with some amazing technologies. However, I have seen few companies take such a truly groundbreaking approach as Cmed did when they developed Timaeus. As a result, it enables investigators, clinical nurses, monitors, data managers and study managers to capture and manage data from all over the world in ways I have not seen possible anywhere else. I look forward to helping Cmed and their clients succeed through use of Timaeus.
