Snowfall hampers the vehicular traffic in Southern Romania, Ziare.com news website reports.
The traffic police say 73C national road is closed in the county of Arges so that the snow could be removed in the section between Curtea de Arges and Tigveni, between 50th and 58th kilometer.
A train derailed in the county of Olt, causing traffic troubles. The traffic on 65 (Е574) national road is hampered close to Colonesti. A snowstorm and ice-covered sections wreaked havoc in the county of Constanta.
On Monday evening Romania issued a yellow code for snowfall and snowstorms. It will be valid until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the news website says.
