Another worth watching trailer that appeared recently was this one for a film called The Whistleblower , starring Rachel Weisz as well as Monica Bellucci, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn, David Hewlett and Liam Cunningham. It’s another one of those political-action films that’s based on real events that occurred in Bosnia. It looks pretty intense and actually like it might be good, so I’m interested in watching it. There’s even some uncensored language in it, so make sure the kids are in bed first. I also suggest watching this full screen on YouTube since the quality is pretty bad. I’m definitely keeping an eye out for this. Watch below! Watch this early promo trailer for Larysa Kondracki’s The Whistleblower : A policewoman risks her job and her safety to uncover a scandal involving the U.N. in post-war Bosnia. The Whistleblower is directed by filmmaker Larysa Kondracki , of only a Serbian film called Viko previously. The script was co-written by Kondracki & Eilis Kirwan ( Little Christmas , Nostradamus and Me ). The story is based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac , a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and outed the U.N. for covering up a sex scandal. It was shot last year in Romania but hasn’t hit any festivals yet. We’re not sure who’s distributing in the US either, so stay tuned for updates. Look interesting?
