The International Monetary Fund will send a mission to Romania between July 26 and August 4 for the fifth review of the country’s EUR13 billion loan agreement signed last year, the IMF said in a statement Monday, Romanian Mediafax news agency reports.

Eleven people died and three were severely injured Monday evening in a plane crash in Tuzla, in southeastern Romanian county of Constanta, Romanian Mediafax news agency reports.

Greek Finance Minister Giorgos Papakonstantinou has expressed optimism that the aim set in the budget to slash budget deficit to 8.1% by the end of the year is feasible, Greek Nafthemporiki daily writes on its website.
