CFR Calatori, Romania’s national passenger railway operator, announced that six more trains were cancelled on Friday due to the cold weather, besides the 25 trains cancelled earlier. Dozens of other trains will not run until February 7, Romanian Mediafax news agency reports.
At the weekend passenger trains 7052 and 7051 will be canceled.
Between January 30 and February 7 passenger trains 9359 and 9364 will not travel, and as of January 31 two fast trains – 1981 and 1982 – are canceled. They run between Bucharest North, Medgidia and Tulcea and back. 15 more passenger trains are canceled between February 1 and 5 and between February 1 and 7 a few more trains will be canceled.
