According to a number of Romanian reports, Europa League hopefuls Standard Liege are interested in securing the services of young Unirea Alba Iulia attacker Gheorge Grozav.
The Belgian titleholders are in the market for a new attacker due to the expected departure of Serbian hitman Milan Jovanovic. The latter has an expiring contract and is continually being linked with a move to Italy.
Standard were already close to signing Grozav last summer after the youngster impressed during a trial period, but the transfer eventually collapsed due to unknown reasons.
Unirea are reportedly ready to cash on the striker now though. They have set a €300.000 asking price for Grozav and Standard appear to be ready to match their demands.
