One interesting item of note came when Tara asked Vaughn if he aimed to do other comic-based movies.

After a long pause Vaughn said, „I am about to do one but I can’t say what it is. That’s something I’m gonna start writing.”

‘. We have to admit we’ve seen very little. So, it’s nice that at the recent Showest trade convention, exhibitors got the first look at some new artwork from the film in the form of a cool poster.

Meanwhile, talked with Mark Millar over at SXSW and asked him what’s next on the movie front.

„Matthew and I are going to do two new projects, and they’ll be quite interesting for people who are looking for us to get together and do a big, widescreen superhero picture,” Millar told MTV News. „This is an adaptation of a book that Leinil Francis Yu and I are doing. It will be out in September as well. I can’t divulge the name yet. I don’t want it to get lost in the ‘Kick-Ass’ publicity, but this will be the next thing after ‘Kick-Ass.'”

The next Millar book in stores is ‘Nemesis’, the film version of which the comics creator has been regularly hyping since he announced the comic.

„Already we have directors lining up for ‘Nemesis,’ the book that’s out in a couple of weeks’ time,” Millar told MTV. „It’s very exciting. It must be how Stan [Lee] felt, I suppose, back in the early ’60s. He’s creating all these books and luckily people are liking them.”

‘ movie.

She’s playing a half-human/half-witch character and we’re guessing is on the side of evil. One interesting note is that McGowan had previously been cast in the lead in the Conan-related ‘Red Sonja’ movie. That movie was also to be made by the same people behind ‘Conan’ and was heavily hyped at Comic-Con a few years back. Since then the project seems to have fizzled.

The trades also confirm previously-rumored cast members Stephen Lang, Rachel Nichols, Ron Perlman, Said Taghmaoui and Leo Howard. Jason Momoa is starring as the Barbarian king.

The movie is filming now at Nu Boyana Studios in Sofia, Bulgaria.

‘ movie. Fans may also recall that Chris beat out his brother Liam for the part, which has sparked a bitter family feud not unlike that between the Thunder God and Loki.

„We had a fight. He won. No, I’m happy for him to get it,” Liam said. OK, perhaps there’s no real feud. Liam said he’s OK with big brother taking the role, „as long as a Hemsworth is throwing that ‘Hem’ around…”

‘ called „Kick-Ass”. We’re hardly music critics here at C2F but we have to say the song seems strangely out-of-sync with the bombastic tone of the film. The video debuted on the , but has since been ported to YouTube.

Wow, so Edward Norton has been fielding the question of „will he do another Hulk movie” ever since the first one came out to a lukewarm reception. The latest round of questioning intensified at this weekend’s SXSW festival. While Norton remains vague on the issue, his replies have been interpreted as everything from a firm „No” to a definite „Maybe” and a wink-wink „could be”.

C2F thinks Norton gave the most interesting sound byte to the blog at Hitfix.

„It’s really up to you guys,” Norton said, probably referring to fans and the fan press. „Is it important to you?  Does that continuity matter?”

The obvious answer seems to be „of course.” C2F feels like most fans enjoyed ‘Incredible Hulk’ and would love to see Norton come back as Banner in ‘

Drew McWeeny at HitFix gives his analysis of the Norton/Marvel/Hulk situation and that too is interesting. Fans know that Norton, on some level, clashed with Marvel over the film. Marvel and director Louis Leterrier in the press. However, Norton didn’t advocate his own summer blockbuster in the same way that Jon Favreau or Robert Downey promoted their Marvel movie, preferring instead to do the minimal tour of press junkets.  In recent, related interviews Norton admitted he had a beef with someone specifically at Marvel and that person is gone now (perhaps referring to Avi Arad).

McWeeny’s impression is that Norton still holds some „simmering resentment” over the situation, but also presents himself as „a genuine fan” of the character. He suggests that Marvel release the expanded Norton cut of ‘Incredible Hulk’ (estimated to clock in at 2 hours, 20 minutes) as an olive branch towards bringing him back in the fold.
