An ad-hoc delegation, together with the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, will visit Moldova at the beginning of September due to the Transnistria issue, Iliyana Yotova, an MEP from the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats and deputy chairwoman of the Delegation to the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, told FOCUS News Agency.
Based on the data notified by the Bulgarian authorities in April 2010 and subsequently validated by Eurostat, namely a general government deficit of 3.9% of GDP in 2009, the Commission decided to initiate an excessive deficit procedure for Bulgaria with the adoption of a report under Article 126(3) of the Treaty, the EC press service announced.
A mission of the International Monetary Fund will visit Romania starting July 26 to review reforms and discuss the 2011 budget, the IMF representative in Bucharest Tonny Lybeck said Monday, AFP informs.
