Texas improved radically on defense each year under Will Muschamp.

It will be awesome to see how good the Longhorn defense will be now the Muschamp is getting those superstar defensive players he specifically wanted.

Texas returned a ton of defensive talent from the #5 unit.  Now they add all these blue chippers defenders to the 38 year old Mad Scientist Muschamp.

I think the high flying pass happy interlude of 2003-2008 is officially over in the Big 12.

Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas decided they like to play defense instead.

Hopefully, the spread offense is finally on its way out.

………..

Once again, thanks SEC for Muschamp.

We are in deep, deep, deep trouble. Our class was not very good at all, and we couldn’t even win with top 5 classes for four years in a row. Sad day. Our program is as stale as month old bread–and recruits know it.

OMG! A top 15 class. It’s the end of the world as we know it.

OMG! A top 15 class. It’s the end of the world as we know it. It is the end of the world when 6 teams from our conference are out recruiting us. Well, maybe not the „end of the world”, but it can’t be good.

It’s not even the class we signed, it’s the fact that very few five star players even had us listed as a possibility. Something has to be going on. Common sense tells you that.

I love the Seminoles recruiting class. I’m absolutely ecstatic about what Fisher and the rest of the staff have been able to do in such a short amount of time. This FSU class was like 39th in the nation in late December. To end up with the number 6 recruiting class on ESPN is incredible.

LoL dawgman is always complaining about something. Are you sure you’re not a Philly fan?

LoL dawgman is always complaining about something. Are you sure you’re not a Philly fan? 8-5 season, killed by Okie State, killed by Tennessee, killed by Florida, beat by KENTUCKY, D-Coordinator fired, new Defense coming in, best defensive player(from a horrible defense) leaves early, two red-shirt Freshmen, that were not good enough to get Joe Cox off of the field, competing for the starting QB job, top recruits leaving for DEREK Dooley, half the SEC recruits better than us, and nobody in Dawgnation seems to care…..I guess the fanbase has taken Richts cue of apathy.

Not much to cheer about down here. Complaining is all I can do.

Complaining is all I can do.No one cares about your complaining. We care about getting good players and being back on top in the conference again, but no one on this board cares what you have to say about Georgia because it usually isn’t good.

I’m done.

Trojan fan here.  Very happy and a little bit surprised. With Carroll leaving, Kiffin becoming the new HC and the NCAA investigation just about done I thought that would’ve scared off a lot of recruits. Instead they get the #1 OL Seantel Henderson, top wideouts Klye Prater/Robert Woods, TE Xavier Grimble and RB Dillon Baxter. 5 of the top 50 players according to MaxPreps. The only down side is I am not seeing a lot of Defensive Talent.  I guess they are going to try to out score their opponents a la the Saints.  We shall see.

I’ll be very surprised if this Texas class isn’t viewed as the best of 2010 in a few years.  What separates this class from any other in Mack’s tenure is the across the board character and intelligence of the recruits.  There isn’t a recruit in the class that is viewed as a grade or injury risk at this point (in contradistinction to our previous best class – 2002 – which was loaded with high-risk talents).

Not much to cheer about down here. Complaining is all I can do.The only reason I pointed it out is because I live in Atlanta and a lot of my friends from high school go to UGA but most are happy with Richt. Obviously they are disappointed with how the recruiting class fell out of the top ten but most UGA fans I know still feel like Richt is a great coach and you’re one of the very few I’ve encountered that thinks Richt needs to be replaced.

Its a mixed bag for me. I think our class looks real good on paper, but I think we could have addressed needs a bit more. I wanted to see more help on the D-Line and LB’s. Losing Shirley and Riley to UCLA hurt. Slick Rick actually backed up his talk for once.

Seantrel was a huge get for us, as well as the receivers we grabed.

I love Georgia as much as anything else in my life and I want to see us at the top. All I can say is that I don’t think Richt is the man to do it for us. IT doesn’t mean I hate him, actually it is the opposite, I like him very much. He is principled, moral, kind, and has great character. I just don’t think he was, is, and ever will be tough enough to will his team to a title. But who the heII am I? I’m a punk on a computer and have been wrong enough in my life to know that I could be wrong about this…but I don’t think I am.

What pains me more than losing is the fact that most UGA fans don’t seem bothered by it. I really wish Richt would get hired away by FSU or Miami. That would be good for everyone involved I think. And all the Richt worshipers will be able to buy Siminole and Hurricane merchandise at their local Champs Sports retail store. As for me, I cheer for the team, not the coach.

2009 new coach and 5 wins which could have been 6 or 7 easy and possiobly 8 but given Arizona game I’ll just say we woulda coulda should made a bowl…but we didn’t so now…..

Oh and the best „recruit” in the nation, Jake Locker coming back for his Sr. season.

Yes life as a Husky fan is getting better and better.

All in all, I actually think Michigan got worse with this freshman class and I see even bigger problems for Michigan come next year.
